- Male pore inconspicuous, difficult to recognize and intraclitellar behind segment xvi.
- Lumbricine, setae anteriorly widely situated and posteriorly closely paired.
- Clitellum annular and laterally flared into wings.
- Intestinal caecae, supra-intestinal glands and calciferous glands are absent.
- Prostomium zygolobous.
- Anus dorsal.
- Holandric.
- Seminal vesicles in ix-xii.
- Ovaries fan-shaped with several egg strings.
- A well developed gizzard in front of viii/ix or in viii or vii and viii.
- Dorsal pores absent.
- Polythecal.
